De-Snowing

PAS Aircraft Deicing puts a lot of emphasis on the benefits of De Snowing. We have proven through the years that by De Snowing we can reduce the amount of glycol use by 50% on average. PAS uses two different methods to manually de-snow an aircraft; the wing brooming technique and forced air method. Both methods are used to remove contaminants, but they are most effective on snow accumulations of ¼ of an inch or more. These methods help to considerably reduce the amount of de-icing fluid used, but sometimes these methods even allow the aircraft to fly without the use of de-icing fluid at all.
